I’ve Been Named One of the 30 Most Influential Photographers of the Decade

I went to breakfast with some other photographers this morning and was stunned to hear I got named as one of the 30 most influential photographers of the past decade.

So how did that happen? I was named in the list with the highest number of votes per voter so it seems I’ve got a fan or fans who repeatedly voted for me. That’s cool with me but who were the dedicated voters? I know my biggest fan is a bit of a blog stalker too, which begs the question, Mum, were you behind this? On the other hand, and probably more likely, some of my brides got super excited at my wedding photography, so I thank them for their votes.

Anyway, if you’d like to take a look, the lists are here.

Or maybe social media is working better than I expected for me. That brings me to my next point. Australia’s top selling Professional Photography Magazine, Capture, is going to mention some of my thoughts about Facebook and Twitter in a coming edition. Find me on Facebook here and Twitter here.
