As a wedding photographer a question I get asked all the time is if I am willing to travel to a wedding away from my home. The answer is yes. I love travelling to destination weddings and welcome photography inquiries from all around the world. I’ll literally go anywhere someone wants me to go.
Depending upon the destination I charge a flat travel fee and handle all my own travel arrangements. I aim to arrive at the wedding destination 24 to 48 hours before the wedding in order to scout locations and become acclimatised. I also like to do a pre-wedding photoshoot with the bride and groom on the day before the wedding.
Right now I’d love to be photographing a wedding in Bali. My brother is there and I’ll admit I’m jealous. I haven’t been for a while and am super keen to get back over there for a wedding. So, if you’re getting married in Bali, give me a yell and I’d love to join you for your Balinese wedding.
