Here’s another of the images I am entering in the NSW Professional Photography awards. Obviously this is a wedding photo from a fabulous wedding at Boulders Beach between Lennox Head and Ballina. In previous years I have largely restricted my awards entries to wedding photography. This year it’s going to be different.
I achieved my Associate status with the AIPP using just wedding images (that’s no mean feat) and now I am working towards my Master of Photography status. A friend suggested I don’t worry so much about entering wedding photographs in awards and turn more to some of my other work; portraits, landscapes, commercial and personal photography. But I can’t help myself. I’m still entering a few wedding photos into the NSW competition. When it comes to the national competition, the APPAs, I may not enter any wedding photos.
