Mac and Meredith’s wedding at Byron Bay was the last wedding I photographed in 2008 – and it was a corker.
Just before the wedding was due to begin on the beach at Wategoes we copped a huge tropical storm. Thunder, lightning, torrential rain and gale force winds added a bit of angst and drama before clearing quickly and leaving everything clean and refreshed – plus a little cooler than the opressive heat the rest of the day had been loaded with.
Mac and Meredith had travelled from California, USA for their Byron Bay wedding on the beach. With no shortage of great beaches and great photographers in their area at home, it was great to be chosen to be their wedding photographer in Byron.
